I'm an eye cream skeptic. I'm 32 years old and I've yet to find an eye cream that really works for me. There have been some that I liked, but they've never truly measured up. Recently though, I was given the opportunity to try the Murad Instant Radiance Eye Cream (released in April 3012), and all of my eye cream woes came to an end.
As with all products, the Instant Radiance Eye Cream makes certain claims, and as always, individual result may vary.
I can't vouch for the percentages, but I can say that I do see both instant and longterm results. My dark circles appear slightly less noticeable, and my undereye area looks softer and smoother immediately after application. Are my circles 48% lighter? I have no idea. But since I started using this eye cream in the beginning of May, the overall darkness of my undereye circles doesn't seem to be quite as bad. I still have dark circles but my undereye area just seems brighter and more hydrated.
That Retinol Palmitate and Tangerine Butter...obviously a winning combo for instant smoothing.
After almost 3 months of use (morning and night), and I still have quite a lot of product left. The container probably lasts 6+ months. A little goes a VERY long way.
Besides the results I've seen with this eye cream, there are a few other things I love about it. The texture is smooth and very primer-ish. You know that super smooth consistency that a lot of face primers have? That's what the Instant Radiance Eye Cream is like. Because of that, it's perfect for daytime use. Many of the eye creams that I've tried in the past have cause my makeup to crease and cake up under my eyes, but not this one. Also, I didn't experience any redness or burning after application; another huge plus because SO many other creams burn pretty bad on my eye area.
$68 is on the pricey side, but I definitely see myself repurchasing this in the future. I'm a little obsessed at the moment.
What's your favorite eye cream? Why?
