How To Shape Eyebrows | A Brow Buddy Tutorial

The Brow Buddy is great for everyone. Whether your brows are full, barely there, totally uneven, or maybe you just feel like you need brow guidance, this kit will not only help you get the perfect shape. The end result is beautifully arched brows.

So, my brows...you can tell by my pictures that they're very sparse. What you can't tell, because I only take a closeup of one eye, is that they're very uneven. One brow is a bit more full while the other is nearly non-existent. The shape is there, but the hairs are not. All I can say is never EVER use an epilator near your brows because one slip-up and the hairs will take a bajillion years to grow back. Mine are growing, but I'm only on year 3.

The before:

You will need:
The Brow Buddy Shaping Kit by Billion Dollar Brows
Tweezers

Step 1:
Place The Brow Buddy just under your nose. Using the white brow pencil draw a line against the inner edge of The Brow Buddy. This will be the front end of your brows.

Step 2:
Looking straight ahead into a mirror, pull the "arm" of the Brow Buddy out so that the inner edge is even with the outer part of your iris (the colored part of your eye). Using the white brow pencil, draw a line to show where your arch will be.

Step 3:
Adjust the Brow Buddy so it's extended even with the outer corner of your eye. Using the white brow pencil, draw a line to show where your brows will end.

Step 4:
Fully extend the Brow Buddy. Place the edge just under your brow. Using the white brow pencil. draw a line to guide the under side of your brows. Reposition the Brow Buddy under the tail end of your brows and repeat the process.

Even before filling my brows, you can see how they're now shaped completely symmetrical to each other.

Step 5:
Tweeze or wax the hairs that are outside of the white lines in front, under, and behind your brows.

Step 6:
Fill, apply makeup, and the finale:

More pictures as requested by Miranda! I always raise my left brow...ah!

How come you showed both brows up until the very end? Makes me think you didn't want to show us the finished product because it doesn't actually do what it promises....

@Miranda - I think maybe she showed just the one so that we could see a close up of the finished product.
I've always thought your eyebrows look fantastic. (I admit to a bit of brow envy). If you hadn't showed a before I never would have guessed your brows were uneven.

Miranda...I totally know what you mean. I showed both brows until the end because I have this bad habit of raising one of my brows in pictures. It's silly, I know...but when they're filled the raised brow becomes even more obvious and it made it so I was totally unhappy with all 53 pictures I took. I'll try again and replace the picture though :)

Cathy! Try penciling it in and feathering it out with a spoolie. I personally don't recommend that super obvious faded effect but a very slight fade would be fine. Right now I'm trying a BDB brow growth formula. If it works, I'll let you know!
