Glossybox | June 2012

GLOSSYBOX, another popular monthly sample box offers 5 luxury travel-sized beauty products for you to lather, blend, soak, spray, buff, and groom. Indulge and experience luxury at its finest. Providing the highest-quality experience with a focus on customer care is at the heart of our mission.

I recently did a post for another monthly beauty sample box and honestly, my thoughts on GLOSSYBOX are much the same. I enjoyed my first box. The shea butter is lovely, as is the shave cream. The Show-OFF mascara is also quite nice though I do prefer waterproof formulas. However, will I continue to enjoy my boxes as the months continue? Hmmm...we'll see!

Are you subscribed to GLOSSYBOX? What are your thoughts?

Whoever picked the products for this box did an awful job, in my opinion. I got the same box and I was annoyed at receiving 4 creams in one box. The mascara had a tendency to clump on me, which is blah. The perfume smelled like Pine Sol. I was so disappointed :( When you look at the UK or Canadian boxes, they seem to get better products. I'm not sure why the USA ones are so awful. You're right, the Shea butter is nice! That was the only product I liked.

i had 6 months of glossy box and in the end unsubbed after receiving a lot of products that u could either get free from counters or a lot of the same kind of item in each box.
I recently subbed to Joliebox and for me the products are a lot better even though they had a prob with their delivery in June. Latest in beauty do good boxes but u have to be quick to snap them up as they 'sell out' quite quickly and have no subscription service. But u can buy larger samples of products on their site :)

I just think I dislike skincare type boxes in general. I used all of these when I first got the box and now they just sit. I always go back to my normal routine products.

I also don't think I'm enjoying the sample box concept. I like to have control over what I'm getting and with these, I don't.

I hear its like 20 something bucks. That's too much for a sample box in my opinion. The most I've spent is $15 for sample society which also has deluxe samples. Birchbox offers more makeup/nail polish which is why I stick around.
