Review:
Love. Love...love...love. These shadows are seriously amazing and with a price of less than $5, they're just unbelievable. Crazy pigmented, silky smooth, and so easy to apply, a little goes a long way with these...a LONG way. They actually remind me a bit of MAC's Veluxe eyeshadows; not Veluxe Pearl, but Veluxe. It was a line of matte powder eyeshadows with a creamy, silky texture and phenomenal pigmentation. For whatever reason, MAC discontinued them (they were my favorite), but these Milani Powder Eyeshadows are super similar, bigger, and only a fraction of the price (so these are my new favorite). One slight con of these shadows is that they're soft which means they're a little more delicate and fallout-prone. Also, the availability is limited as they are CVS exclusives. It is possible that they may be available on Cherry Culture or the Milani website sometime in the future though.

Overall, I highly recommend these if you can get your hands on them. My favorites Pitch Black, Shocking Pink, Tickled Pink, Purple Shock (especially this one...omg gorgeous), Pearl, and Gold Dust. And Just Perfect. Yes, I do have a lot of favorites :D

Have you seen these at your local CVS yet? Which ones are your favorites?

  3. More CVS exclusives?! Did I read that right? Ugh! The nearest CVS to me is three states away!

I did notice that the pictures of the hot pink one and a couple of others look to be dupes for Urban Decay. The hot pink one really reminds me of Woodstock. I wonder how it compares.

  11. Milani use to have these but then stopped selling them in stores. I know you can still get them in the old packaging on Cherryculture.com. Some of the shades are still named the same. Do you know if these have been reformulated and re-released?

  13. Miss FabEllis...I always forget to mention that I use a primer! So, yes...I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance on my hand before applying. Nonetheless, they're great shadows.

Zazidoll...I do wish these were more available rather than just being exclusive to CVS but maybe they will be in the future.

Mara...a few of the colors were reformulated but most are totally new.

  20. I haven't seen these at my CVS yet, it's been a while since I've been to CVS though and it's also been ages since I've gone makeup shopping. $5.00? Seriously? That is awesome. I work with my own models, I think I may have to look into picking some of these up for them. Thank you so much for introducing this wonderful brand. I've gotten some bright shades from various brands and they don't show up that well, blue shadows especially just do not show up on my lids. I'm very fair, but I have blue eyes, and even though the blues don't show up well, they do make my eyes pop even with just a hint of blue shadow, but I'd like to have more fun with makeup some times you know? Nothing too bold, but just a tiny splash of color. I will definitely have to try these shadows though.
