wet n wild Bake A Cake Eyes | Limited Edition Baked Palette

It was love at first sight for me and this palette (see swatches HERE). The combination of bright pink, plummy browns, and that intense periwinkle blue is just perfect.

For this look I skipped the periwinkle and focused on creating a bright pink and brown eye that's bold, fun, and wearable all at once.

Garden Party Dress from eShakti.com | LOVE!

I recently purchased the Garden Party dress from eShakti with my $20 off coupon code (Expires tomorrow, Oct. 31, 2011! Enter BBRUNETTE0811 at checkout!). The dress was custom fit for an additional $7.50, with my choice of neckline styles. I also got another $20 off code to use on a future order by placing this first order. I was first introduced to eShakti a while back when the provided me with a skirt for review. I absolutely loved the quality and service that they provide; they make clothes as the get orders; shipping is amazingly fast. Plus, it's great for those who have difficulty finding clothing that fits perfectly.

I have a love for 1950's style clothing and the cut of this dress totally embodies that. I'm planning on picking up others like this in different prints and colors, minus the embroidery.

Loved it!

Smokey Gold with Sugarpill | Goldilux

Sugarpill is known for its gorgeously bright and striking eyeshadows. However, just because an eyeshadow is bold doesn't mean that it can't be toned down a touch. For those who prefer not to wear bold makeup, and also for those who may work in a position that doesn't allow for daring makeup (like me), it's nice to be able to take a color and tone it down for "everyday" wear.

For this look, I used Goldilux--quite possibly the most amazing gold shadow I've ever seen--and paired it with some browns from my Tarte for True Blood palette.

Charmer Eyes | Tarte True Blood Palette

Another Tarte for True Blood look and I'm still in love with this palette. Everytime I decide to use it I'm always amazed at how rich the eyeshadows are. "V" and Charmer are the two main eyeshadows for this look. V is a beautiful rich cranberry red. It'd be great for a smokey eye!

I added wine lips to this look. I rarely do color on both my eyes and lips, but lately it's been growing on me.

Pink and Purple INGLOT Eyes

Unfortunately I don't have any full face pictures of this look but I basically did my current favorite lip color combo, and bronzer with MAC Lightscapade Mineralize Skinfinish for a cheek highlight.

It had been a while since I used any of the colors from my INGLOT palette. It was definitely time for me to revist it. This time around I used a few pinks and purples for a bright look.

MAC Star Violet Eyes

Like I said in my Olive Green Eyes post, lately I've been using one main color all the way around my eye. It's quick, easy, and completely versatile. Any color works. This time I used Star Violet from MAC. It was once one of my favorites--a warm, shimmery plum with a touch of a pink tone to it. Absolutely lovely.

Loving This Lip Color Combo ♥

This combo is a current favorite of mine, implementing my go-to lipliner and two lipsticks from MAC. Creme Cup is a sheer, milky pink...lovely but a bit too pale on it's own for my taste. Creme In Your Coffee is also on the slightly sheer side but more on the plum brown side...again, lovely bit a bit too brown for my taste. However, the two layered create a beautifully natural lip-toned shade that can go with any look.

Layering liners and various lipsticks is a great way to create your own lipcolors without having to spend money. Budget friendly beauty tip!

Smokey Blue Eyes | Lorac Multiplex 3D Palette with Swatches

I haven't done a darker blue look for a while but when I got the Lorac Multiplex 3D Palette from Hautelook. This palette is amazing. The shadows are so incredibly smooth, pigmented, and effortless to work with. Plus, the colors are breathtakingly gorgeous.
