Olive Green Eyes featuring Lorac

Something I've been doing a lot lately is using one color all the way around my eye, pairing it with my go-to crease/transition color, and matte highlight. It's quick and easy for my workdays when I'm up at 5:15am. This time I used the most perfect olive green ever from the Lorac TANtalEYES palette I ordered from Hautelook.

Imagine ordering a set of nail polish. All you think you'll receive is a box of polish, right? Well, that's what I thought before I opened my box from Misikko. To my surprise though, I opened the box and saw this:




I'm pretty sure I squealed and said "awwwwww!" I thought that the way the OPI Nail Polish "Summer Oranges" Gift Set was packaged was absolutely adorable. At $19.99 plus shipping, and considering that OPI polishes tend to run $8.50/bottle, this set seems to be a pretty good price. Plus, shipping was incredibly fast.

Earth Goddess Minerals Eyes

Remember the gorgeous swatches from Earth Goddess Minerals that I posted a few days ago? Well, here's my first look using the eyeshadows. the colors truly are beautiful and I'm really loving the purple, Electric Wysteria. It's just such a vibrant color.

Tarte for True Blood Eyes

I recently got my hands on a Tarte for True Blood palette (SWATCHES) and I absolutely love it. Tarte truly has some great shadows. So, with my love for this palette, I've decided to do a series of looks with it to show the versatility that it has.

I mainly used Bayou and Werewolf to create a slightly smokey, super easy, bronzed peach eye. It's completely wearable, totally work appropriate, and offers just a touch of soft color.

Lipsticks in Black and Geisha's Kiss

For those of you who love bold lips, whether they be vampy or bright, these lipsticks were made for you. Black is a smooth, creamy lipstick, slightly sheered but easily buildable. I personally would line and fill my lips with a black eyeliner pencil to bump up the pigmentation and staying power. Geisha's Kiss, a bright, gold flecked red, is also smooth and creamy. It's definitely more pigmented though, lacking the sheer quality of Black. Mix the two together for a deep vampy red wine!

Glitter Gel

It's glitter gel...basically. A clear base with varying sizes of glitter; in a pump bottle. What I love about this one though is that it doesn't have that funky smell that most glitter gels have. This one actually smells light and fruity...love it.

Swatches and Thoughts: e.l.f. 100 Piece Eyeshadow Palette

100 eyeshadows for $10? Yes. Please.

And what's awesome is that these eyeshadows are actually really nice. Granted some of them aren't; some are sheer, disappear during blending, and straight just don't show up, but overall, this palette is fabulous. I'd say that about 90% or more of the palette is made up of some gorgeously pigmented shadows. Plus I love the mixture of neutrals and brights, shimmers and mattes. The packaging is cute too. I'm loving the clear flip-top lid that let's me see the rainbow of colors.

Fantasy Makers, wet n wild's 2011 Halloween Collection, is filled with some gorgeously fun products. As one of their Beauty Ambassador's, I recently received a package of some of the items they'll be releasing and I'm SO excited to share them with you!
