Urban Decay Matte Eyeshadow (+1 shimmer)

I've said it a few times but I'll say it again...Urban Decay has some of the most amazing matte eyeshadows ever. They're so smooth and easy to blend. They go on pigmented and effortlessly. They remind me of INGLOT's mattes but less chalky which makes them pretty much perfect in my opinion. However, their mattes have been on Hautelook (CLICK HERE) a lot lately so they're most likely being discontinued. Such a shame.

One Eye Look, Lots of Different Lipcolors

The makeup I did on my eyes is nothing new. I actually did a post featuring it recently but this is just a different variation on it. I used Ulta eyeshadows in Bone and Camel, MAC eyeshadow in Cork, and Physicians Formula cream liner in Brown Eyes (the dark brown). I've also used wet n wild for it before...the 28 Neutral Palette...really, you can use anything that works for you. It's basically about using colors that work with your skintone. You can also change up the color of the liner from time to time. It makes for a really easy but fun look.

Keeping the eyes simple is perfect for being able to change up your lip color. I'm really into brighter lips right now!

Gold and Blue Eyes feat. Glamour Doll and wet n wild

Let me just say that I am absolutely in love with Trophy Wife from Glamour Doll Eyes. It's the most amazing gold EVER. Mingles (the blue) is pretty awesome too! So bright and bold.

Also, there will be a tutorial on this look soon!!!

The INGLOT 20-palette...My Pros and Cons

With my eyeshadows I also got the INGLOT 20-Palette. I was thinking about getting 2 10-palettes but I just liked the idea of what the 20-palette would look like filled. I personally love it but there are pros and cons to it. For me, more pros than cons.

Smokey Pink and Gold INGLOT Eyes

This is the first of many looks that I'll be doing using my Inglot eyeshadows. It was the true test of how they wear and last and so far I'm totally in awe of how amazing these shadows are. Application is a dream with these!

INGLOT Eyeshadow Swatches!

My review...BEST EYESHADOWS EVER. Seriously. I have absolutely no complaints, no suggestions, nothing but praise. The shadows apply effortlessly; pigmented, creamy, easy to blend.

I highly recommend these.

For more info you can check out Inglot's website.

My advice though...take a look at swatches before even attempting to buy from the website. There are SO many shadows, it's hard to choose and keep what you do want organized. that would be my only suggestion for Inglot...they seriously need to rethink their website to make it more customer friendly.

And now...swatches!
Top: no base (though I ALWAYS recommend at least a primer!)
Bottom: concealer as base

Blue, Purple, and a Touch of Pink

This used to be one of my favorite color combinations; it still is but it's been quite a while since I've done this look. I've done it with MAC, Glamour Doll Eyes, my 120 palettes, and this time for this look I used my BH Cosmetics 88 Cool Matte Palette (it has matted and a few shimmers in it...LOVE the palette).

Surf Baby Eyes

This was inspired by the look that everyone at my MAC store was wearing when I went there the other day. My version is a tad more wearable; they took Son Blonde all the way up onto their browbones which, while it was fierce, it's not something I'd wear out and about. I toned it down with Short Shorts as my highlight...it's been a while since I did a shimmer highlight so I kinda feel like it threw the look off. I think I would have preferred my go-to matte highlight. Nonetheless, here it is!
