Picked up a few shadows from MAC's Surf Baby collection and I have to say, they're SO gorgeous. I don't have anything like them and they're all crazy pigmented. I didn't pick up the grey eyeshadow though...kinda wish I did!
My favorites are Surf USA and Sun Blonde, and Sun Blonde is likely the most unique. It's a dirty yellow...totally different from any yellow I own. If you love yellow shadows, I highly suggest Sun Blonde!
Recently, Glam2Go sent me a few Jesse's Girl Eye Dust samples. I hadn't used Jesse's Girl for years but I remember the Eye Dusts to be very sheer and requiring WAY too much effort to make work on the eyes...having to apply them wet then dry, over a colored base, over a sticky base...all that kinda stuff. However, after just swatching these 4 samples I can tell that Jesse's Girl has really stepped up their game. The Eye Dusts are incredibly pigmented and smooth. They seem like they'd apply nicely but they're SO finely milled that I'm a little concerned that they'll go sheer easily upon blending...I'll have to try them on my eyes first. So far I'm definitely impressed though!
Swatches over concealer:
Left to right: Blackstar, Antique Green, Mardi Gras, Ultra Violet
Part of wet n wild's Limited Edition Summer Collection is the Go For The Gold Collection...a Color Icon Trio and Bronzer, both of which are just GORGEOUS (CLICK HERE for swatches!). I used both products for this look and absolutely love them both, especially the eyeshadow trio!
These products won't hit shelves til mid-May and even that is dependent on each individual store. Your best bet will be to ask someone at the place you purchase wet n wild.
For Phyrra, I'll be doing a tutorial for this soon!
This wet n wild look is featuring two of their eyeshadow singles, and I just have to say, they're singles are wonderful. If you've tried the eyeshadow palettes and know how great they are, the singles are just the same.
And yes, I don't have bangs in this post...it's a look I did about a month ago.
