MAC Surf Baby Eyeshadow Swatches!

Picked up a few shadows from MAC's Surf Baby collection and I have to say, they're SO gorgeous. I don't have anything like them and they're all crazy pigmented. I didn't pick up the grey eyeshadow though...kinda wish I did!

My favorites are Surf USA and Sun Blonde, and Sun Blonde is likely the most unique. It's a dirty yellow...totally different from any yellow I own. If you love yellow shadows, I highly suggest Sun Blonde!

Bright Pink and Blue featuring wet n wild

I was feeling bright so I thought I'd do something bright with my wet n wild eyeshadows. The look was super simple to do...only used 3 eyeshadows total! Check below in my product list for details.

Tutorial! wet n wild Gilded Age Trio Eyes

The other day my beautiful fellow blogger Phyrra asked me to do a tutorial using the new wet n wild Gilded Age Eyeshadow Trio so here it is! I wish it were a live video tutorial for Youtube but I'm currently unable to do them. I need a new camera! :/ Hope you enjoy it in picture form though!

To start, I applied a base, MAC Painterly Paintpot. You can use whatever works best for you.

Jesse's Girl Eye Dust Swatches

Recently, Glam2Go sent me a few Jesse's Girl Eye Dust samples. I hadn't used Jesse's Girl for years but I remember the Eye Dusts to be very sheer and requiring WAY too much effort to make work on the eyes...having to apply them wet then dry, over a colored base, over a sticky base...all that kinda stuff. However, after just swatching these 4 samples I can tell that Jesse's Girl has really stepped up their game. The Eye Dusts are incredibly pigmented and smooth. They seem like they'd apply nicely but they're SO finely milled that I'm a little concerned that they'll go sheer easily upon blending...I'll have to try them on my eyes first. So far I'm definitely impressed though!

New Makeup Storage and Updated Collection Pictures

The other day I picked up the desk hutch that is now placed on top of my makeup/dressing table. I absolutely love it! I'd been wanting to have my palettes out where I can see them because it helps me use them more. The hutch also allowed me to take my foundations and powders out of my makeup/dressing table to make room for other makeup...mainly my wet n wild eyeshadows. There was just so much stuff that I wanted out of plastic containers in my closet, and in the open where I can see them and put them to use more.

I got the desk hutch at Cost Plus World Market on clearance for about $17! It was regular $70 or so. Such an awesome deal!

Song Bird Eyes

A look using the Still Glamourus Song Bird Trio. I really love the gold and bronze in this set.

wet n wild Penny Lagoon Eyes

This wet n wild look is featuring two of their eyeshadow singles, and I just have to say, they're singles are wonderful. If you've tried the eyeshadow palettes and know how great they are, the singles are just the same.

And yes, I don't have bangs in this post...it's a look I did about a month ago.

MAC Mischievous Mint Nails

Mischievous Mint from the MAC Quite cute collection...a really nice creamy turquoise. Love it!  I believe it took 3 coats to get it completely opaque.

Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple...rocking some color!

I've been in a very neutral, wearable, easy makeup mood lately so I haven't done much in the way of color. On Easter though, I had some extra time so I figured I'd break out my 3rd Edition 120 palette from BH Cosmetics and play a bit.

And I'm still in my pajamas...oh well :D

Still Glamorus Song Bird Trio (swatches)

The Song Bird pigment trio from Still Glamorus is a gorgeous combo for summer. The gold and reddish bronze are great for a gilded smokey eye while the teal is great for a pop of color when combined with the other two colors. The teal is actually a great dupe for Bare Escentuals Azure eyeshadow.

Packaged in 5 grams jars, with 2.5 grams of product.
