Soft Silver and Plum Eyes from BeFlurt

I did this look before but it was on my list to recreate. So here it is! A soft silver (Dusty Silver from Pop Beauty...got it from BeFlurt! Only $3.99!) To be honest (and just my opinion), these Pop Beauty Dust Eyeshadows are not incredibly spectacular and miraculous, but they are nice, quality, super affordable pigments thanks to Beflurt. They're only $3.99! So, if you're in a shopping mood, are looking for a particular color, or just want to try something new, they aren't bad at all.

I also got Olive and Lime from Pop Beauty as well which I'll be using in future looks.

I'm Getting Sunburned Eyes (wet n wild)

This is my FAVORITE of all the trios. I absolutely love the combination, the suggested placement, and just everything. It's just lovely.

wet n wild Color Icon 8-Pan Palettes

You've probably already seen the swatches I did for the eyeshadow trios, so here are the new 8-color palettes from wet n wild. 8 colors...yes! And they're all lovely! These palettes are ONLY available at Wal-Mart and Walgreens and they're permanent! So if they sell out fast at first, no worries...they'll always be around :) Priced at $4.99, they're definitely worth it!

Reddish Brown Eyes with Warm Red Lips

I don't do bold lip a lot but lately I've been loving red lips. Russian Red is my go-to color and I usually use it Revlon Colorstay Lipliner in Red. This time though I warmed it up with MAC Auburn lipliner. It was a bit more warm than it looks here...deeper too. A lovely combination!

wet n wild Color Icon Shimmer Pencils

wet n wild says:
Add a touch of shimmer & sparkle! These rich, creamy eyeliner pencils are packed with 40% micro-glitter for shimmery, sparkly definition that won’t go unnoticed. Fortified with Shea Butter & Vitamin E to moisturize and condition.
Available in Black, Silver, Blue, and Copper.

Pink and Purple Eyes and Loving MAC Vapour and Seedy Pearl!

I recently did a little Back 2 MAC trip and ended up getting MAC Vapour and Seedy Pearl eyeshadows; they're both GORGEOUS! I also got (with my Back 2 MAC empties) Angel lipstick which is this gorgeous soft pink. It's a frost which is my least favorite formula or MAC lipstick and actually, Angel is the only frost lipstick that I own. Period. But the color is lovely and the formula seems more like a lustre to me...more on the sheer side with a sheen rather than a frost.

NEW wet n wild Eyeshadow Trios!

Since these palettes are already out in most stores, I saw it as appropriate to let this be the first of my many posts as wet n wild's new Beauty Ambassador :)

The palettes are gorgeous with lots of MAC dupes (post on that coming soon!). And at only $2.99 each, they can't be beat! There's nothing bad I can say about these palettes and you can see from the swatches just how amazing they are...smooth, pigmented, and easy to blend. Some of the shadows are a little fall-out happy but there are always ways around that. Also let me add, that to do these swatches (over concealer like always) I simply loaded a brush with shadow and swiped it ONCE on my hand. That's all that was needed so a little goes a long way. Love it!

wet n wild says:
Good things come in trios! New, dynamic shades with 30% more pigment and pearl for ultra-impact color. Colorful, trendsetting shade extension of our Color Icon™ Eyeshadow Trio Family. Each trio contains three complementary shades in longwearing, blendable colors. Shades are embossed with “eyelid,” “crease,” and “browbone” to provide an easy “how to” guide.

And swatches (over concealer)!

wet n wild Greed Palette Eyes

I haven't used the Greed palette much since I first got it. I've used one shadow here and there but never for an entire look...until now. I tend to stay away from silvers and greys but I decided it's a nice palette to have to creating a more natural smokey eye. So here, I used mostly skintone colors and smoked out the edges with the darker shades. Super simple!

28 Neutral Palette Swatches

A nice palette, but not my favorite, the 28 Neutral Palette is basically for those who want a palette that isn't filled with a ton of color. If you like softer, more natural looks, or if you prefer the neutral shades, this palette is great. My only thing is that while the swatches came out great, it's different on my eyes. Maybe I just need to play with the palette a bit more...maybe add a thicker base. A good, creamy base is definitely needed to bring out the pigmentation of this palette.

If you're interested in that palette, it's available on a ton of websites. Just do a Google search! :)

Some Glamour Doll Eyes...Blue with a Little Pink

I thought it should be time to revisit my Glamour Doll Eyes eyeshadows. It's been a while! I went with something bright and eyecatching, blue and pink...Flashdance(on the lid), Tattooed in the crease (a gorgeous blue toned purple that buffs out to a vibrant blue), and Phyrra for the pink (named after the gorgeous Phyrra, a fellow blogger).

Balmshell Lip and Cheek Tint

About the product:
A gel based lip and cheek tint with a built-in antibacterial sponge applicator so you won’t get “Caught Red Handed".

Formula Includes:

* White tea extract (powerful antioxidant)
* Chamomile Extract (soothes and helps sensitive skin)
* Rose Water (controls oil secretion in the skin)

$20.00 each

My review:
I haven't used it on my cheeks only because I'm not one for cheek stains but as far as lip stains go, the Balmshell Lip and Cheek Tint is by far one of the best I've ever tried. It's a gel so the consistency isn't watery or sticky like a lot of stains out there (it is slightly sticky upon application but dries and "mattes" out). It didn't dry out my lips or make them look dry when I wore it either which was a huge plus. Did I mention that it lasts? I did? Okay well...it does...amazingly. It didn't wear off my lips at all; when I did swatches it stained my hand for the day which shows that it'll make for a great cheek stain as well. At $20 per stain, it's about average priced in comparison to others as well.

Also, but the sponge is pretty cool! Great for application without staining your fingers! You have to blend the stain is as soon as you place it though or you'll be able to see where you swiped or dotted it on.

Scandalous Scarlet
Shade: Rosy Red

Gold and Purple Eyes feat. wet n wild

So, I actually did this look around the holidays and somehow it got lost in a sea of posts I wrote while I was off from work and school. I used mostly wet n wild for this look...the Night Elf and sugar Plum Fairy holiday palettes as well as the Vanity palette, their H2O Proof liquid liner, and also a little wet n wild lipstick on the lips!

There's a tutorial for it too which I'll be editing sometime this month :)

Brown Eyes with Blue Liner

If you're following me on Twitter you probably know that I'm going to be redoing a lot of old looks, so this is the first of those. This is actually a look that I do more often than others but since I already had a post of it, I never showed it again. So, here it is! I don't know what I used in my original post (which has been deleted for reasons you may have heard about on Twitter as well), but this time I used Ulta brand eyeshadows from a huge holiday palette I got last month. LOVED the Ulta shadows! The liner is from Ulta too. Just check the products below like always :)

Enough rambling...here's the rest of the look.
