So many products and brands have crossed my path this year but which made it to my Top 10 of 2011 list? Keep reading to find out!
Benefit Brow Zing in Light
I just recently started using this but goodness...I love it. While I don't use the wax because my brows are so sparse that it just makes them smudge and wear off easier, the powder side is the perfect color for me. Plus, even though I only use the powder, I get about 3 times more product than in my previous brow product for only about $10 more. I'm thrilled with my Benefit Brow Zing!
Salon Perfect Demi Wispie Lashes
I'm an everyday false lash kinda girl. I've worn them for years and just can't go without. Since Salon Perfect lashes are considerably more affordable than other brands, they've become my new favorite.
I've tried Lorac eyeshadows before and loved them but it wasn't until I was able to pick up a few palettes from Hautelook that I truly fell head-over-heels for them. They are without a doubt the most luxurious, amazing, high quality shadows I've ever tried.
Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadows
Speaking of amazing eyeshadows...ah Wet n Wild...how I love you. My favorite from them is most definitely their Color Icon Eyeshadows. They're, to me, the best drug store eyeshadows around. Actually, I think they even surpass some higher grade brands as well. Pigmented, blendable, long lasting, and a dream to apply. Plus, they're super affordable!
Sugarpill Loose Shadows
By now I'm pretty sure you're beginning to notice that I'm quite the eyeshadow lover. Among my favorite shadows this year, or ever for that matter, are Sugarpill loose eyeshadows. Absolutely the most amazing loose shadows ever. The colors are vibrant and unique, easy to work with, crazy pigmented...anything and everything positive that you could say about an eyeshadow, these are it.
Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray
You really should check out my review on this and just know that my opinion and love for the Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray are still the same. It makes my makeup last so long and beautifully, while also getting rid of the powdery look. Fabulous!
Philosophy Lip Shines
Not a product I've ever mentioned on here but I swear by Philosophy Lip Shines. While they're gorgeously glassy glosses, I actually wear mine at night to moisturize my lips while I sleep and they work wonders. Yes, they're sticky...they're a gloss. However, it's that thick texture and the moisturizing ingredients that make it perfect for creating soft lips. I've been using it since the beginning of 2011 and it's still my go-to! My current flavor? Mimosa!
Ulta Brand Automatic Lipliner in Flesh
My everyday lipliner and when I say "everyday" I mean it. Literally...well...except for when I wear red lips. Flesh is the most perfect, natural lip color for me. It works with all lipsticks, and creates a perfect canvas for a lasting color. Ulta Automatic Lipliners in general, are lovely. The range of colors is simple but also natural and wearable for a variety of skintones. They're incredibly longlasting and smooth to apply too. No skipping!
MAC 217 brush
It blends flawlessly, packs on color, and smokes out the bottom lashline. With just one MAC 217, I can do an entire eye look. Quick and simple! I have 4 of them that I've had for about 5 years now. 100% worth the money!
NYC Skin Smoothing Bronzer
I've been using the NYC Skin Smoothing Bronzer for quite a while now and it's just awesome. It goes on smooth, lasts...I really just love it. I mean, awesomeness at less than $3, what's not to love?
