Misty, Seasonal Cool, Light Violet, Grape
Stunning, right? These crushed metal pigments are so so lovely. I'm crazy about their metallic sheen, sparkle, and rich pigmentation. A problem with this product that I initially had, and that I've heard about from others, is that the pigments are incredibly difficult to apply. They can go on splotchy, cause WAY too much fallout, and just be total pains in general. However, upon mentioning my issue on Twitter, the lovely and amazing Mandy (atinymandolin) from Prettymaking, told me that she never had a problem with them simply because she used the LA Splash Eyeshadow Base, which has a slight stickiness to it. I don't have the LA Splash base, but I do have Too Faced Glitter Glue Shadow Insurance...tried it and voila! The crushed metal pigments applied PERFECTLY. Problem solved.
So, though they can be stubborn, the pigments are total perfection with a sticky, tacky base. And now I'm in love. ♥
What are your thoughts on these crushed metal sets? Will you be purchasing any?

Ooooh those are lovely colors. I think playing with pigments will take a lot of practice but i'm sure i'll get it right one day, So I might consider purchasing some. :)

OH WOW I was just going to suggest the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glue! That's what I ended up doing after experiencing the same things and it works like a charm! Great review!

wow those are super pretty! i do love pigments, but i hate how messy they are so i don't find myself reaching for them very often. :/
