wet n wild Fantasy Makers: Glitters!!!

wet n wild's Halloween 2011 Fantasy Makers collection is filled with some awesome glitter products. These four products are some of my favorites from this entire collection. They're just so fun...and so affordable!

Glitter Gel
$2.99

It's glitter gel...basically. A clear base with varying sizes of glitter; in a pump bottle. What I love about this one though is that it doesn't have that funky smell that most glitter gels have. This one actually smells light and fruity...love it.

Confetti in Glitz
$2.99

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this glitter; a very fine, holographic silver cosmetic glitter that can be used in a variety of ways. Over nail polish, mixed with polish, on the eyes, mixed in lipgloss, in your hair. The possibilities are endless. It's close to MAC's 3D Silver glitter, but only $2.99. You can't get any better than that. To me, this is a must-have.

Glitter Eyeliners in Mystical, Cryptic, and Magical
$2.99

If you're looking for some super affordable glitter liners, this is the time to stock up. From the swatches below you can tell that Mystical (the purple) is more pigment than glitter, but Cryptic (silver) and Magical (turquoise) are true glitter liners. I also love that the applicator is a thin brush. I wish they made a TON more of these...all different colors!

Glitter Palette in Stage Beauty
$3.99

Glitter and cream...no, not the best combination. I have a love/hate relationship with this palette. While it's absolutely gorgeous, it also creases like crazy if worn on the eye. To make it work it's best to use a brush to ever-so-slightly apply it below the crease (emphasis on "below") or on your bottom lashline, OVER eyeshadow. Yes, over. Using is sparingly below the crease, and over an eyeshadow help prevent creasing. I actually recommend these for face paints rather than for use on the eyes.

While I'm disappointed that these are the same products as last year I'm also happy the products made a return so I can replaced products I used (the glitter liner gives department store brands a run for their money).

What I'm really disappointed about is that the kits with the stencils made a reappearance. Those stencils tend to tear very easily. Everything else I'm happy did make a return. Just wish the individual duos did as well, so far I haven't seen those outside the kits.

I bought a glitter palette last year thinking it would be love.. But I HATE it. I can't even swatch it like you did here. I think they need to seriously revamp the formula, because they look SO pretty in the package! :D Thanks for sharing!
