The other day I picked up the desk hutch that is now placed on top of my makeup/dressing table. I absolutely love it! I'd been wanting to have my palettes out where I can see them because it helps me use them more. The hutch also allowed me to take my foundations and powders out of my makeup/dressing table to make room for other makeup...mainly my wet n wild eyeshadows. There was just so much stuff that I wanted out of plastic containers in my closet, and in the open where I can see them and put them to use more.
I got the desk hutch at Cost Plus World Market on clearance for about $17! It was regular $70 or so. Such an awesome deal!
Soon I'll be painting my dressing table and desk hutch...they need to match so a makeover is coming :)

I love to see how other people organizes their makeup and such stuff! I haven´t finished my makeup-corner yet, still looking for fitting hutches to store the shadows in...I kind of have the same problem like you, if I don´t see the products I kind of forget them so I don´t use them as much as I thought I would when I bought them.
