I recently recieved a new sponsorship package from Glamour Doll Eyes and I'm pretty sure that these are my most favorite colors ever. EVER. They're seriously just amazing. I swear I opened my package and was in Heaven.
Left to right
Top row: Mingles, Petticoat, and Tabloid
Bottom row: Trophy Wife, Undercover, and Royal Assassin
Color descriptions according to me:
Mingles: An almost neon, true matte blue. Matte mineral pigments tend to be difficult to work with. I haven't used this color on my eyes yet so I can't really say just yet, but I do have a few matte GDE shadows and I love them. I personally haven't had an issue with them. I find it best to either build the color little by little or apply it very slightly wet first, then buff it out with dry product.
Petticoat: A shimmery sky blue with pink reflects. Such a cute color. A trick I've learn in getting the reflects to stick during application: Apply the shadow wet first, then pat the shadow, dry, over the top.
Tabloid: A shimmery pinked cranberry. It's similar to MAC Star Violet but a touch brighter because of the pink tone it has. I LOVE this one.
Trophy Wife: This color is gold. I mean GOLD. Seriously just metallic. And just...gold. I don't know how to explain it other that that. It's intense. I love it :D
Undercover: A wearable taupe with a touch of green and peach. I've used this color 5 times since I received it. It's perfect for everyday as well as for evening.
Royal Assassin: A deep eggplant purple with green ad gold reflects. The base of this color is matte and it applied like a dream (I used it just the other day with Tabloid). Very little goes a long way so it's best to apply it sparingly and build up on the color.

I've been looking into GDE shadows for a while now, lurking on their website and whatnot and finding all the information I can get(since it's indie). But Mingles is VERY tempting! I might just have to take the plunge.
