e.l.f. Studio Blush Swatches and Review | Updated Dec. 2011

Original post published in 2010
Updated Dec. 2011 with new pictures and details~

e.l.f says:

The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow!

Gotta Glow, Peachy Keen, Candid Coral

Mellow Mauve, Berry Merry, Blushing Rose

Tickled Pink, Pink Passion, Fuchsia Fusion

The gold glitter in Fuchsia Fusion

Are these my favorite blushes? No...they're not. But while they're not fabulous like my Mineralize Skinfinishes, they are pretty nice. The quality of each is completely dependent on the individual color. Gotta Glow, Pink Passion, and Fuchsia Fusion aren't as great as the others; they're grainy and/or chalky, and I'm just not a fan of the chunky gold glitter in Fuchsia Fusion. The others though, are lovely. More smooth in texture, pigmented, and easy to blend.

My favorites of the bunch are Candid Coral, Mellow Mauve, and Tickled Pink.

Have you tried e.l.f. Studio Blushes? What are your thoughts? If you have your own swatches of them, feel free to post a link below! I'd love to see!

Thanks for the swatches, Appreciate it so much, as I was looking at them in Target and thought they would be too sheer or have too much glitter but they look very pretty and light colors would make terrific highlights for me.

Yes, I also love elf, but the UK and the Romanian site, the ones I can order from don't have nearly as many sales as the US one...But, that's life :)

do you recon mellow mauve and candid coral are very similar to each other. and do you think either of these might be similar to Nars Orgasm in color?

@mel_lee200 Mellow Mauve and Candid Coral are very different. Mellow Mauve is definitely pink which Candid Coral is...coral :) As for Orgasm...I'm not sure but I'll ask around for you! Let me get on Twitter :)
