I recently saw this product in Youtube video on Makeup By RenRen's blog. She mentioned how it was great for removing stubborn stains from brushes. So, I decided to pink some up at Michael's (craft store) to try. All I can say is that Pink Soap is fabulous.
To use, I simply squeezed a small amount of the soap into the palm of my hand, swirled the end of my brush in the soap, and rinsed. It literally removed stains from my brushes that had been there for ages.
I definitely recommend it!

I need some of this for my 187. It's been stained pink for over a year. It pisses me off every time I pick it up.
what whaaat?! I need this! I think all of my brushes are stained and I'm actually starting to buy black/brown bristled brushes so avoid that sinking feeling... Thanks for sharing!
Oooh nice! I bet that would work perfectly for my fiber optic brushes. Those are the only ones that I have that really get stained.
I really need this, I have some brushes that are really stained and I washed them constantly but that doesn't eve get it out.

i saw these & would always wonder if they were safe for makeup brushes because I know its recommended for art brushes ...good recommendations

This is actuallly the only brush cleaner I use - it cleans and conditions. And the price is right too!

I have been using Dr.bronner's castile soap but this looks great as well.
I totally need that for my 168, my 239, and 217. My 239 has been stained ever since I used it wet with Dusty Coral pigment. :( Thanks for the tip!!!
This is definitely on my shopping list.

Hmmm..cool. I just use my Neutrogena Deep Clean facial cleanser. Removes out all the stains even the tough ones. One day I figure to try it out since it says deep cleaning penetration, and it worked. Removed all the pesky stains. But I will definately look into this one, might work well, better or could be cheaper. Will look into it.
Nice!!!
I'm gonna look into that. I'm sure it's gotta be less expensive than MAC's Brush Remover.
I just wanted to say thank you for this post! I have been using this soap for a few months now & it is GREAT!! None of my brushes have any stains and they are in wonderful condition! I only have to use a tiny bit & they are clean in no time. :) Thanks again honey!
