Pin-Up Girl Collection
I recently received these lovely mineral eyeshadows from Heartbreaker Cosmetics. Now, my readers know that I use a lot of mineral shadows. However, there are also a lot of brand that I don't use. I'm super picky when it comes to mineral makeup because it's not something that everyone can master. I personally look for shadows that are smooth and easy to apply, as well as pigmented enough to blend but without fading or looking muddy. These eyeshadows from Heartbreaker Cosmetics were very impressive. They were everything I look for in a mineral eyeshadow, plus I love the colors. Gorgeous!
Top is over NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
Bottom is over skin/no base
Colors (left to right):
Sweetheart--a low shimmer peach that blends to pink sheen
Puppy Love--subtle beige with a slightly bronzed shimmer
Faith--matte dusty rose
Vavavoom!--shimmery black cherry/rasin
Lust Liner--black

I have a lot of her matte pigments, were very let down, they almost flake off my eyelid. Honestly, her shadows were the hardest for me to use out of any pigment line I've tried which was shocking. But you look like you only got two that were matte. I'll have to check out her other stuff.
I have such issues with matte minerals but maybe she changed her formulation? Not sure but the rosy color and the black (the black has some sparkle though) are matte and stayed on perfectly. I'll post the look later today but even when I buffed the rose on with a 224 brush, it stayed pigmented. Who knows...but thanks Ale! <3
